I gotta say, I do not like Hercule Poirot very much. I like the suspense and as the story went on, I started to suspect a handful of people. Not sure if it is because this is one of her earlier works, but the writing was much clunkier than any of her other works that I have read. And I picked up much misogyny in this book.

Agatha Christie wrote this when she disappeared for a few months bc her husband cheated on her, when he found her again she pretended to have no idea who he was. Iconic.

I guessed the right culprit on this one! I usually don’t get it exact in Agatha Christie books. This one has a little bit slower start I think. But it was enjoyable as always!

Total personal  score: 3,3.
Fun: 6, Writing: 7, Logic: 7, Characters: 7, Story: 6.

I didn't care for how this book was orgnized. Too many introductions for all those characters and half of them end up in the same train.
Got it from the library and probably won't reread it, much less buy it.
