Plot was extremely thin on the ground and I found the weird "archaic" language offputting, but the SPICE. Someone delete my GR account when I die.

Certainly worth a read

This is the book for you if you like monster/human (are centaurs really monsters?) romance, shorter reads, minimal plot, interesting anatomy, and a bit of a softer dominant in the relationship. It was certainly a fun piece of escapism

Ever since Nora Ash wrote a short story about a Centaur and a woman...I was hooked.
So when Liv posted a picture of this new novella and joined in on the Centaur train - I knew I had to have it.
I can't explain it, there's just something about a Centaur that's....really really...interesting. ;)

This is a novella sized little story and I absolutely loved it, but then again when did L.V. Lane ever write a book I didn't like?...so far that's a never.

I really liked the centaur and the setting, the village, the community, and ofc the steamy scenes, but in this novella, the world already knows about these mythical creatures, and I love how the mystique of the Centaur is still very much alive, even though they are known, by the humans, to exist in the forest etc.

A Centaur story also always keeps me thinking...wondering and trying to picture just how certain things would work, because not everything gets explained you know? hahaha.

It's a nice little "monster" piece, and I would recommend it. It's easy to read, and has good humour, good steam and is perfect for when you just need a little pick me up, or are in a bit of a draught - OR if you just want to read a monster story! :D

In the midst of talking about the political kink compass with a friend, I found that according to the chart I was likely to be receptive to “monsters/aliens” and as someone who is currently on book 12 of IPB, I was intrigued to see if this was the true on both parts for me.

It was hot? But also my mind hurt trying to keep the monster aspect in place when it got to the sex scenes. It was short quick read and I didn’t hate it. So that damn compass clocked me so good

I guess if you enjoyed the special milking contraption from Morning Glory Milking Farm you might like this.

This is my first book by L.V. Lane and I loved it. I’ve never read a book with a centaur as the main love interest so I was immediately intrigued. I was skeptical of how things would work physically but L.V. Lane handled it beautifully making it seem natural and more fun than normal. My only wish was that it was longer and we could see more of the centaur society but as a novella it was great with action, romance, and heart. Would definitely recommend this spicy monster book.

This is quite possibly the worst writing I've ever had the misfortune to come across on Kindle. It feels like a middle school girl tried her hand at monster porn.

There are 53 incidents of the word "slick" (as a noun and onomatopoeia) to describe female lubrication. I finally stopped cringing and just laughed each time it appeared.

I'm a degen monster lover and loved the idea of a centaur hero so that or his anatomy was not a problem for me. What did make me stop reading was how grimy this story made me feel. There was a lot of emphasis on body fluids.

The reviews on Amazon talked about how the use of the word "slick" was very cringy. When I saw those, I thought to myself how erotica/smut/etc is very personal to everyone so I understand where they come from and that I don't usually have an issue with authors using flowery words for human genetalia or functions. Well apparently I met my limit with this story.

The FMC's pussy never stops weeping. I was like girl clean up oml. It actually did make me want to take a shower lol.

I'll make a point to say that these functions are normal and natural--my intention with this review is not to shame anyone for their body responding normally to certain situations. I'm just saying that the couple in the book are getting precum and pussy juice everywhere all over the house all the time and I don't feel like reading about it anymore. I also kept picturing the centaur's home similar to a barn since they mentioned a stable and bedding which adds another layer of muckiness to me. I thought I could push through to get to the smutty bits since its just 100pgs, but I couldn't do it. In fact, I'm feeling like I want to distance myself from my kindle for a bit since I keep mentally associating it with what I just read.

I did like the prose and the way they spoke in this book. There is a love story here as well so I'm sad this wasn't for me.
