A fun read. Eleanor and Raymond's relationship was amazing. At some point it felt boring since they drag revealing her past since we only learn about it till the very end.

Great book. Well written. Easy read. Nice mix of suspense and empathy and humour.

This book made me cry more than any other, because it is so beautifully sad. Eleanor Oliphant is a deeply traumatised and therefore shut-down person, who doesn’t really know how to exist in the world,
but through the kindness of a friend she overcomes her unimaginable struggles to ultimately find peace
Honeyman has created a narrative which explores an under-represented social issue: loneliness in young people, and in doing so makes the reader fall completely in love with Eleanor.

What a book! It completely lives off of Eleanor’s voice who you find yourself charmed by rather quickly. The writing style is quite delightful and the secondary characters, while not the most unique, carry a spark inside of them. The twists and turns were good, I enjoyed the themes a lot! While I wasn’t the biggest fan of how some of Eleanor’s colleagues who were pretty awful to her just started being nice at the end without any apologies or amends, this book is still one of the most enjoyable reads I’ve had all year.
