I finished Empire of the Damned tonight. And damn. This book was packed with things I wasn't expecting and then the last 200 pages were even more so!! And now I need to next one! I don't even know when the next book it going to be out!!! 😭

I tabbed the heck out of this book! I ran out of the colors I was using! Sometime I'll probably go back a highlight things. I'll probably go back and tab and highlight the first book also!

I really went into the first book expecting not to like it but I've really enjoyed them.

Welp, gotta wait for the third book to find what happens to our favorite paleblood and his friends~
In all seriousness, amazing prose, amazing ambiance, amazing... everything. I'm not the same person I was when I started reading this. Easily one of my favorite series of all time now!
I absolutely adore all the characters, but especially Gabriel. So flawed, so cool and funny at times
