A very satisfying conclusion. I agree with other reviews that it was definitely longer than it needed to be. Most of the filler I found myself not really absorbing. But in the end I’m content with how the series ended, and that’s definitely not something I can say about some other series. I like that the ending wasn’t rushed and hastily thrown together like I find a lot of series end. This was satisfying and yet still painful as a dystopian ending should be, again very Hunger Games but different.

It’s been a journey re-reading the Red Queen series so I could read the finale. I don’t want to say much to give anything away. I really enjoyed watching these characters grow and evolve over the past few years. One of my students said “Finishing a book is really sad” and I feel a bit of that today. I will miss being immersed in this world, but it’s another one to carry with me.

Plot revolves around 2 men that all the women talked about non-stop. I just needed to finish the series. It took way too long to wrap up.

A glorious ending to a series full of blood and rebellion, of heroes and villains. A satisfying ending isn't always a happy ending, but it can be the one we deserve best.
