I only listened to this anthology because I'm trying to read every Rebecca Yarros book and she was one of the authors featured. Some of the stories were really good and enjoyable, but I wish they were all standalone short stories instead of being connected to other books. I felt like I was missing too much of the story and context surrounding the situation. Also way too many of the stories revolved around pregnancy/children which is a turn off for me, but overall a decent listen.

These were fun steamy short reads! I liked some more than others but a good quick listen all around.

This was an anthology of short stories, so it's really hard to truly judge it, but only a few of the short stories really grabbed my attention.  I think this would be better suited for someone who's read all the books these short stories relate to.

Overall 3.5 stars.

As with all anthologies, I loved some and was more meh on others. I took super brief notes as I was listening. Mainly the title, narrator, and then star rating and sometimes a few words that summed up what I thought. So, I’ll put those down below.

Cash Final Voicemail by Blair Babylon: narrated by Joe Arden – 3 stars. Love the narrator. Meh story.

Then You Kissed Me by Willow Winters: narrated by Brian Pallino – 4 stars. Love the narrator.

Forever Girl by Kate Canterbary: narrated by Jason Clarke – 4 stars. Great narrator. Actually read Before Girl, there aren’t many books in this anthology that I’ve read the full book/series. Really fun seeing Stella and Cal again.

Scene Red by A.L. Jackson: narrated by Blake Stanton – 5 stars. Loved the jealous/possessive scenes and the narrator is great, a little too scratchy for my taste but still great. Really want to read this series/book sometime soon.

Holiday Outtake by Helena Hunting: narrated by Jason Clarke – 3.5 stars.

Shopping for Quickie by Julia Kent: narrated by Tim Paige – 3 stars.

The Bet by Rebecca Yarros: narrated by Teddy Hamilton – 4 stars.

The Incident by Elle Kennedy: narrated by Kit Swann – 2.5 stars. Eh, very short and it ended super abruptly.

Prom Night by Sarina Bowen: narrated by Blake Stanton – 3.5 stars. So sweet.

Hoodlum Heat by K. Webster: narrated by Jakobi Diem – 4 stars. Love the narrator and I really want to read this series soon.

Ultimately Sated by Carrie Ann Ryan: narrated by Tor Thom – 3 stars. Good but too short.

If I Only Knew by Corinne Michaels: narrated by Shane East – 2.5 stars. Don’t remember anything about this one.

Carnal Comfort by Susan Stoker: narrated by Joe Arden – 3 stars.

Love and Freedom by Aly Martinez: narrated by Jason Clarke – 3.5 stars. Liked this one. I think I would have liked it more if I read the series.

Kennedy's Aussie Fling by Nana Malone: narrated by Emma Wilder & Shane East – 5 stars. So good. I just wanted more with these two. I hope to read more Nana Malone soon.

The Rule of Always by Kennedy Ryan: narrated by Kit Swann & Jakobi Diem – 4 stars. Another wonderful story by Kennedy Ryan. Makes me want to get to the Grip series sooner rather than later.

I listened to this because I wanted more from one specific author. That said I don't think I was target demographic for this book. A majority of the stories fell flat and weren't quite the spice I was looking for. I'm not into the pregnancy trope nine out of ten times, that said I loved some of the more diverse stories in here.

So hot! I heard some of my favorite male narrators and the short stories are steamy.
