I decided to read this book as for a start the cover is gorgeous and I have heard a lot of great things about this story. This is the perfect chick-lit book for all women readers out there and I was not disappointed. Inside this book is a story line that will make your heart melt and want to join in. It is beautifully written, easy read and set out well. I would highly recommend this story to you all, I nearly cried myself at a specific part but I don’t want to give anything away. This story will stick with me for a while and finishes with a beautiful ending, making it perfect. This is the first book I have read by Kat French and I cannot wait to read more of her stories. This is the ideal story for readers who enjoy a fantastic chick-lit, drama and romance filled story that will take you away to some place new from the comfort of your couch. Enjoy, I did. Brilliant.

This book could be my new favourite romantic comedy read! It ticks all the right boxes: a heroine who you can really relate to, gorgeous yet troubled hero, lots of laugh out loud scenes, plenty of will-they-won't-they moments and a completely satisfying ending leaving me with a slight glisten in my eye and a big smile on my face. It would make a great film too, though would probably have a high rating due to all Hal's swearing!

Right from the first page where we meet Honey and her friends Nell and Tash in a sex shop, I was totally hooked by this book. Honey is a charity shop manager whose friends are determined to find her the perfect man who will help her discover the joy of shall we just delicately say a physical relationship! Without going into too much detail, they feel a pianist will be the perfect solution having long sensitive fingers! The dates they set up for her had varied success but were very entertaining to read about. Her new neighbour Hal could win a prize for the rudest, angriest neighbour ever. Clearly not the perfect match for Honey. But oh that sexual chemistry between them was so strong you could almost feel it crackling off the pages! The reason for all his anger and pent-up frustration is made clear early on and you can understand why he behaves the way he does but poor Honey does bear the brunt of it. I just loved the growing attraction between them and how they both were so totally in lust with each other but at the same time didn't feel this was a relationship they should have.

The other storyline in the book was also well told. The charity shop where Honey works is attached to an old-people's home and both are under threat of closure. The older characters from the shop and home really added to this story. I liked they way they were written as strong-minded individuals with their own stories to tell. It was lovely they way they all worked together to try to save the home with the help of the community - and some fluffy handcuffs!

I smiled and giggled my way through this book, willing Hal and Honey to get together and wondering if it ever would happen. I would love to read a sequel to find out what happens next for all the characters. This is a book that will definitely leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling, a well told love story and one I'd recommend to anyone who likes a bit fun with their romance.

This is my first read by Miss French. I have to say, I like The Piano Man Project very much. It is sweet with a big jerk of hero. The hero is blind ,BTW.

Honey is sweet. She is out of luck heroine who needs confident boost. Enter Hal. The blind hero. Their banter is cute and sometimes crude (coming from Hal). Nevertheless, I like the book very much.

The way Honey acted was pathetic and annoying. I found that the parts of the book that had the H/h together i could read but i skipped everything to do with her job which i found pointless for the story.
