1) احرص على الا تكون مشغولا، لأن كتابات زافون كشباك العنكبوت تأسرك بداخلها، المناص منها ابدا ليس بالسهل، و ان انشغلت ستتوه و تفقد اثار خطاك
2) يجب ان تهيئ لزافون طقسا خاصا بكتبه لا ينبغى لغيره، طقسا هادئا، مظلما نوعا ما و بعيدا عن تفاهات البشر
بعد ذلك فلتستمتع بقلم من افضل الاقلام التى ستقابلها فى حياتك ، و لتتوه و تفقد الاحساس بالزمن فى روعة السرد و بلاغة الكلمات

عاد لنا زافون مرة اخرى فى الجزء التانى من الملحمة الرباعية، و غزل لنا العديد من قصص الحب و خيبات الامل و الألام و الحسرات مع جولة فى شوارع برشلونة و أزقتها و آثارها و تاريخها مع الحرب و السلم فى جو غامض سوداوى ساحر، لينسج لنا عدة روايات فى رواية واحدة و يربطهن جميعا برباط شديد الوثاق بحنكة و حرفية منقطعتا النظير
الى اللقاء فى القريب العاجل مع دانييل و بياتريز و ابنهما و فيرمين مجتمعين مع دافيد مارتين ليمتعوا حواسنا و يغمرونا بالنشوة ، و لكن تلك المرة بالانجليزية ان شاء الله لأنى لن استطيع الصمود.

I found this book to be quite entertaining, if a bit long, but I knocked it a down a star or so in the rating because the ending made, in my opinion, absolutely no sense whatsoever and basically I have no idea what even happened in the book now. Which maybe was the point? I don't know. But it ruined it for me a bit.
I always seem to be reading Zafon when I'm in or near Barcelona - his books conjure up an image of a city with a deeper and darker soul than the modern one I'm presented with.
As with all his books, there is an element of not being entirely sure what is reality and what is fantasy/imagination, but this is not a problem if you know to expect it.
Above all, I love the idea of the Cemetery of Forgotten Books, so I will read the third in this series at some point.

Not as good as The Shadow of the Wind, but entertaining, nevertheless.
He disfrutado de una manera especial con el libro. La forma de escribir de Zafón es simplemente brutal. Te engancha, te absorbe, y los misterios los entrelaza de una manera que es asombrosa.
Sin embargo creo que me ha fallado algo en el final. No sé si es que no lo he terminado de entender o qué me ha pasado, pero necesitaba... no sé, una especie de aclaración, darme la seguridad de que lo que yo creía que estaba pasando era de hecho lo que ocurrió.
Pero aún así, tengo muchas ganas de seguir con los libros de Zafón. Los abandoné hace unos años, no por nada en especial, sino porque simplemente dejé de leer y ahora me acuerdo de todo lo que me gustaban.

The Angel's Game is Carlos Ruiz Zafon's second novel, the follow-up to The Shadow of the Wind. The Angel's Game takes place sometime before The Shadow of the Wind, but some of the people and places have remained. Those that read Shadow of the Wind will recognize Sempere & Sons, Barcelo, and of course, The Cemetery of Forgotten Books.
This novel is much darker and sinister than the first, but again Zafon spins a fantastic tale that touches on both the best and worst of people. The Angel's Game tells the story of David Martin, a writer, who has lost his father and the woman he loves to another man. He is writing trashy penny novels under a false name for some no-good publishers when he meets "the boss" who makes him an offer he cannot refuse. However, things are not as they seem and David quickly gets himself drawn deeper and deeper into the vicious plans of "the boss" and others. Will he be able to escape their clutches in one piece? Or will he be doomed as those before him went in the City of the Damned?
Zafon makes the characters and Barcelona come alive once again. Another fantastic page-turner that I spent all evening finishing.
