I liked this, though the pacing felt a little off - kind of wish it had been longer so the characters had more room to breathe, and some of the dialogue felt a little clunky, but it's a very sweet story.
(It also feels important to note that one of the main characters is a black man recovering from an abusive relationship, which is something I don't think I've seen represented elsewhere. Anyway Max is a previous cinnamon roll who deserves better and I love him with my entire heart.)
