Such a cute read! Graphics were so beautiful. I just felt like the story needed more, especially in terms of Max and Eva's "relationship." Overall, I enjoyed it.

Online fake dating? What could go wrong?

Cute, art style is great. Loved the diversity and I loved the Rogue and Gambit comparison in middle. Eva with overbearing mother who wants grandkids while Eva wants to put her career first, I can relate. Max was complex, sad, lonely character you wanted to have a happy ending.

Los dibujos son preciosos y la historia tenía mucho potencial, pero las escenas no terminan de estar bien planteadas en cuanto a la información que aportan y por momentos estaba confusa. Tampoco me convenció el climax del final que me pareció un poco salido de la nada y con una resolución apurada y sin mucho fundamento. Por último,

tanto la parte abusiva de la relación de Max como el trato de la madre de Eva me parecieron mal llevados e innecesarios para lo poco que se profundiza en ellos

. En general, creo que todos los personajes son muy interesantes y la ilustradora consigue darles mucha vida y expresividad, por lo que es una pena que la historia no terminara de estar a la altura.

Cute story with fake dating and real friendships. It also tackled a divorce from an abusive partner, difficult parents and a job asking too much from you. All serious topics handled well

i randomly saw this scrolling on amazon, and i ended up liking it! nothing too special or standout to me, but i do think this did a great job at pointing out how men can be the victim of domestic abuse in MF relationships too.
