I liked the art style, but I feel the writing was lacking a bit. It seemed like there were big time gaps and I would've liked to have seen more of what was happening during those times. Because of the big gaps it got a bit confusing for a little, until I realized it was because of jumping ahead multiple years. Since this is book one there is still a lot of story left to tell which makes it a little harder to rate it. I wouldn't mind knowing what happens next, but I'm not dying to have the next book either. The premise of the books is pretty cool, but just not executed to suit my taste. I felt it was too slow or that I was being told useless information when there was more entertaining stuff being left out. Overall I think the series has potential and it wasn't a terrible book, but I'm not sure if I will be looking for the next book or not. Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for providing me with an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

This was a gorgeous graphic novel and I loved how it didn't feel like reading but like watching a movie play out on the page. I can't wait for the next book!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC which I received in return for an honest review.

To be honest, I understood exactly nothing. All I know is that it was gorgeous, very weird, and that I want to read whatever comes next.

Thanks to Netgalley for a digital copy in exchange for an honest review :)

In the coastal town of Kote, recently brought under the yoke of the Addalian Empire, four-year-old Lupa spends her days getting bullied by her older sister and hiding behind her mother's skirts. But when tragedy strikes, Lupa finds herself alone in a new world... alone until she's found by the she-wolf, Coras, and sets off on a journey of discovery... and revenge.

The story is just the start of this journey Lupa is going through. I wished there was a bit more about her family (especially her mother). The world is interesting and the aspects of the Lunar Goddess are very interesting. I want to know more about Coras and the other wolves that appear.

Ohhh! I really liked it and can’t wait for part two. I mean can it be any better? There were some download problems with Digital Editions and some pages were cut off (happens a lot) but, I got the gist of the story and was able to follow very well. This was very good storyline and character development, the diverse characters and the outro was amazing as well. You get a peek at the characters background, the side characters, and the artists as well. Since I love comics I’m adding this to my must have. Can’t wait till it comes out. Great work.

When I started this I wasn't sure I was going to like it. But surprisingly I did! It is an interesting start, you are thrown into the action very early. It was a little gory considering the main character starts off as 4... But the trauma makes sense as it puts her on her path. I liked the connection between the goddess aspects and her growth. I also loved the pairing of the main character and the wolf. It definitely left me intrigued for the next part of the story.

This was an interesting start to the graphic novel series and it will be interesting to see where the next book takes this story.  I did like the addition of a new colour(s) with each phase of the book and that those colours may tie into the aspects of Lupina.  It helps that there is an explanation of the 8 aspects of Lupina at the end of the book.

I really enjoyed this graphic novel! The artwork is beautiful! The story was confusing at times but I'm sure it'll make more sense in the upcoming volumes. I'm intrigued enough for the next one.

Thank you to NetGalley and Legendary Comics for a free advanced copy. This is my honest review.
