Can't believe I forgot to add this teenage gem. I miss high-fantasy literature.

I liked all stories basically. Although I didn't have any memory of any of them before. So it's good to come back to them after more than ten years ha.

Poorly written. In w technical sense, too. Jumps from third to first person in erratic ways. Stories are contrived. The "heroes" the story is continuing seem like caricatures. They are two dimensional and don't seem to have consistent motivations.
But the AD&D manual in the back is pretty cool.

I’ve been an on-again/off-again reader of “Dragonlance” for about 20 years, and I was really looking forward to continuing with the children of heroes I’ve gone on adventures with, but this book just didn’t hit the mark for me. Maybe it was just not the palate cleanser I needed after the month of chonkers I’ve had.
This is a collection of stories that is supposed to set up later adventures for these characters, but unfortunately none of them were memorable to me. Weis and Hickman are known for their usual care for their craft, and there were certainly moments of their usual brilliance, but not enough to get more than a mid-level ranking from me. However, I may revisit it at another time and my ranking might change for the better.
