I would say this is compulsively readable. I started reading it a Saturday morning and was so sad when I had to put it down to go get ready to meet friends. It's a hard book to describe. It's definitely disorientating, but so interesting and so smart. I saw it's been optioned for a movie and I can't wait to see how it turns out. I will say I found the end less shocking then I had hoped. I was a little horrified, but not surprised maybe 70% into the book and then the rest was just trying to figure out how this all happened, but there wasn't a huge moment of shock. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's still a very good book, but just be warned.
I am not sure what I think of this book. Every chapter moves back in time and explains how the main character came to the position she is in, and so many times over. I found the storyline way unrealistic and hoped that there would be more concrete causation to all the happenings but felt rather disappointed in the end.
There are twists and deaths and excitement but the way it is written, I think I would have liked more in chronological order.

It's slightly confusing in parts but so incredibly addicting. Read in one sitting while flying to family over the weekend. I love the reverse timeline so much. It's a rare timeline to find in literature. I love the little tie-ins throughout the book to keep different characters, motives, and plots in your mind. Seamless execution. I wish it were longer.
Graphic: Suicide, Violence, Medical content, Stalking, Murder, Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Death, Mental illness, Grief, Death of parent, Gaslighting, Classism
Did I want to DNF this like 15 times? Yes. Am I glad I read it? Mmm sure. The beginning was rough for me to get through because I was just so confused until I seen a video where it said that the book started at the end and you work your to the beginning of how it all started. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this book but it was a nice easy book that cleansed my pallet.
this book was so confusing to me, i spent like half of it having no idea what was going on. apart from that, i really liked the turns and plot twists that happened, i was so surprised and shocked with some of them
This was just really confusing, and the ending didn’t provide much resolution
I don't even know tbh. Definitely different and makes you think but I'm conflicted as to how I actually feel. Here's my full review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ik5E7gQAb78&t=92s
