I enjoyed this one much more than the first Nigel Strangeways - enough to keep going with the series. Although still maybe a little long?

Another fabolous mystery by Nicholas Blake. I loved the other books I read by this author and I loved this one.
The style of writing is great, the mystery both engaging and entertaining.
A book you cannot put down and keep you guessing till the end.
Highly recommended!
Many thanks to Agora Books and Netgalley for this ARC

Enjoying Nigel Strangeways. I understood the whodunnit, but I took it a bit farther than Nigel did, which is probably because I'm reading it decades into the future. I'm making myself read these in order, even though I first bought Book 15. But Nigel, like DLS's Lord Peter, grows with the series, so I didn't want to spoil. (And also, I'm a disappointing rule follower.)

Will probably take a break before #3 because I don't actually want to binge when there are a finite number of books.
