Jennifer Hillier really knows how to write a banger! I’ll be reading more of her novels for sure.

Little Secrets is a tangled web of drama and betrayal. The plot took so many unexpected turns and the ending was so good! I had suspicions about halfway through the book that ended up being correct, but it didn’t ruin the book for me at all.

Reading the story from multiple perspectives made a huge difference for me. I found that my opinion about each character changed multiple times as more secrets were uncovered. This definitely made for an exciting read!

This is not a lighthearted read however it is a great one.  It has a slower start but picks up pace as the book goes on.

It was a really interesting book! I do wish that the
kidnapped son and hitman plots were kept separate, but I also understood how they came together and I liked it
. The characters aren't very loveable in this, but I'm fine with it - the plot is interesting and these characters are complex people who've all gone through a lot and make many, many bad choices, but I think it's a part of the appeal for me. It's interesting and I wasn't rooting for anyone specific, but I was still invested, which I think is hard for a book to't do when I also don't wholeheartedly love a character.
