Boyfriend Material

Alexis Hall

4.02 AVERAGE

It is as if someone made Alexis Hall write a bespoke romcom just for me. It has everything I love - chaotic good/anxious robot, fake boyfriends, enemies to lovers, idiots in love, lovable quirky sarcastic entourage, VEGANISM!!!, diversity, queer as fuck, and family bonds. There are so many characters but everyone had a distinct personality and it's impossible not to care deeply about them. It is also very very very funny. I laughed out loud as many times as I shed happy tears. It is like if TJ Klune wrote Red, White, and Royal Blue. So very highly recommended if you want a big dose of seratonin.

Rwarb sigue siendo mejor

while i think the ending was a bit rushed (even though it ended happy), i enjoyed this story quite a lot.
the characters, tropes, and storyline all worked for each other making this book hard to put down and low-key addicting

Decent idea, could have been a little more realistic. But this isn’t my genre so idk

omg this was so cute... a great 3am read... also it was soo funny i aspire for that kind of humor all throughout the prose it was great

I rarely like romance genre, but I liked this!

Generally enjoyable. A bit more witty than I usually like. The emotional struggle at the end of the book felt a bit forced, but I still recommend this book to anyone who liked [b:Red, White & Royal Blue|41150487|Red, White & Royal Blue|Casey McQuiston|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1566742512l/41150487._SY75_.jpg|61657690]
