It is like a short story…that is a long story. It has a short story feel but with a length and description that gives it depth. The ending is very thought provoking.

If I had a nickel for every time I’d read a Terry Pratchett book in which the four horsemen of the apocalypse hang out in a bar I’d have two nickels etc etc

Definitely a middle-tier Discworld for me. I’m not a huge fan of when Sir Terry plays with the fantasy tropes of non-Western cultures (or rather the Western idea of those tropes).
