Can’t believe it took me this long to get into this series. Very exciting read, though Guts is (for now) very much a one-note character. As I understand the series really soars in the second and third arc, and given how much I enjoyed this first one, I’m looking forward to getting deeper in.
what a start into a series of unexpectations especially with such an obstinate mc with an obscure backstory. having progressed through further into the story now though, im just like wtf. easy to hate guts at first, but you'll come to understand everything. he really is not like other protagonists
