This is such a good book.
For the people who said Vera Wong didn’t read like her age, you might try this one.

This book does not shy away from the mental nor physical problems of age, but does it in a respectful yet lighthearted way.
I really enjoyed the topics that got touched on and also really enjoyed the mystery.

“The grandson” is my favourite!

Is this part of a series? There is so little information about the characters, I feel like it is.
It is exhausting and frustrating to follow these characters around. Just as the plot gets going, one of them has an "episode" and the plot slams on the brakes.

If you can't resolve the plot by Ch. 14, you haven't been paying attention.

*Edit Turns out it is the *first* of a series, not the 3rd or 4th that I suspected.

What a hilarious and fun book! I really enjoyed it. It was interesting to read a book through the eyes of an elderly person, a totally new perspective since I mostly read YA and books featuring younger adult characters books. It had twists and turns but in a gentle mystery way more than a thriller. The misadventures of the characters were at times a bit sad but mostly funny. The narrator did an excellent job! Overall, it's an amazing book.
