Very interesting tale with a thread of mystery woven throughout. I loved the two main characters and the way we slowly got more information about everyone and their backgrounds. The ending was amazing & unexpected, and the road to get there was entertaining.

A lot of the premise is unlikely but it's still fun. It was a great listen for the whole family. The actress who reads it for Audible is charming.
Loved this story of a friendship between an independent 84 year old with a mysterious past and a young 21 year old whose dreams have fallen apart. This road-trip / running from the law story ticked all of my boxes. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend.
