The Mostly True Story of Tanner and Louise is delightful. It follows two unlikely partners on an even more unlikely adventure. I loved their dynamic.
Highlights of this book include great humor, life philosophy, tenderness in tough situations, fantastic pacing, and character evolution.
While it starts off on a slow, monotonous note that is a reflection of where the characters are at in life. It picks up when they do.
This one kept surprising and delighting me until the last page. For this genre it is an easy 5 stars.
Read this if you like girl power and mischief.
Skip this if you want something serious, spicy, or seriously spicy.
Overall, this is making my highlight reel for 2023 of fun, easy reads that I genuinely enjoyed.
I listened to the audio version which has a solo narrator. There were a few character voices that were a little grating, but overall it was a decent format for this story.
