I found this book sexist and racist. I has a good mystery in heart but I really think the story telling could have been a lot better.
Moderate: Sexual assault, Medical content, Murder, and Rape
Minor: Dementia and Sexism

In my opinion, not one of John Grisham’s best. The plot seemed to completely change direction part way through which felt disjointed. The male characters are at the centre of the action and any female characters are merely sattelites or plot devices. There were some very implausible plot points. So much talk about food; I didn't really want to know what everyone was eating for lunch all the time, it was weird.
Moderate: Dementia and Rape
