So good! The most realistic love story I have read in a while. I love that they are both flawed individuals who made it work. Also having their own challenges with their mental health made the story relatable.and refreshing. Loved every minute of this book!
Minor: Child abuse, Domestic abuse
I don't know what a perfect romance novel is, but I know I just read one. were there tropes? yes! we're they distracting and annoying? no! was there some very real feeling depictions of neurodivergence that not only served the plot but served to make the characters relatable and adorable? a millions percent yes!

This book was so warm and cozy I absolutely adored it, in fact I may have shed a tear or two while reading. I love the mental health representation in this book I'm a sucker for books with mental health and mental illnesses especially when they're written well. Raine and Jack are so sweet together and they compliment each other in the best way. There was no judgement or pushing each other's boundaries they understood each other and they did what they needed to do to support each other and make each other feel comfortable in difficult situations. They took care of each other and paid attention to what the other needed. I think that their conversations were so fun and I'm extremely pleased that they found a way to each other. This entire book just felt like being wrapped in a warm hug knowing everything is going to turn out okay, there was so much warmth and love.

This started out really good, with a very cute meet cute. However, I felt like the relationship was insta-love and so there wasn't really anywhere for their relationship to build throughout the book. They start out really liking each other and they just stay there for most of the book. There was no tension. I stopped the audiobook during the middle of the conversation where they decide to get together and didn't feel the need to start listening again until 5 days later. The middle of the book dragged as the focus went entirely to the mental health struggles instead of on developing the relationship. I liked seeing the OCD representation, but I really needed more romance. I really liked the unconventional way they resolved things for the ending.
