I re-read this book with audio ... and although it took me a lot longer to get through it [no fault of the book or audio], I truly enjoyed re-reading Jack & Raine's story. The ease in which it was written, the organic feel of their growing relationship, and the simplicity of a romance story was đ¤đ˝
I gave it 5âď¸ the first time and will give it 5âď¸ again!
Original Review:
I loved everything about this book ...
The representation of silent illnesses was definitely one reason, but it was the MCs for me.
Jack and Raine were so cute! The way they gravitated towards each other, the perfect love story.
I love how their individuality glowed through the time they spent together. They challenged each other in the most loving way possible, and I ate it up!
Who does not dream of being a freelance musician traveling the world to meet someone at an Irish pub and fall in love? Certainly me in another dimension!
I loved the found family trope here ... Raine found people who accepted her for her, and she needed that support, especially when she felt she was alone.
I loved that Jack had the support he needed ... and was able to challenge himself around Raine.
I had the honor of reading a copy sent to me ... and look forward to reading more by this author.

Everything about this book was stunning. The mental health rep, the love, the minimal spice was even good for me. I'll take ten more please

This was such a cute, solid romance story. I loved the ADHD and OCD representation that we got in BOTH the MC and the love interest. Also, Iâm beyond thrilled that the continual plotlines and problems didnât revolve around their neurospicy brains. Or rather, let me be clearer: there were plenty of conversations in which the characters talked or thought about how their neurodiversity caused problems in their lives, but the plot did not center around curing their neurodiversity or pretending it wasnât there. Instead, we got lots of beautiful and touching explorations of these characters learning on their own and together how to accept themselves as is while also exploring therapy and individualized accommodations to enhance their experiences. This is a dual-perspective book, which was so lovely to see both of their perspectives, and I adored seeing so many supportive and interesting side characters. There was a lot going on in this book, but just about every conflict gets resolved, and there are very few loose threads left at the end, which I find to be very relieving. Also, omg, the cat!! I love that fluffball.

This was cute. Iâve really enjoyed this series. Theyâve been fun, easy, fast reads. There was something about the âBelow Deckâ vibe of the first two that I missed a little in this book, and maybe for that reason, this one felt less connected than books one and two. More of a standalone for sure. But it got the job done. It made me smile, made me laugh and entertained me. The narrators, Karissa Vaker and Gary Furlong, were great!
