“How can you think you’re too much, when I can’t get enough of you”

This romance novel is incredible. My aunt-in-law sends me audiobooks sometimes and when she sent me this one I knew it would be amazing. I have seen this all over on here and honestly it’s deserves the hype 100%.

Thoughts 🤍📖

I love this book. Jack is the perfect man. I love the fact that he’s Irish, has the most adorable random tattoos and seeing what OCD and ADHD are like for people was so fascinating. I love the mental health representation here. Raine also was such a great character. I loved that she didn’t ever give up on finding her instruments and she was willing to disappoint her family to do what she really loves! This is such a cute romance! It has some spice near the end but overall it’s just super cute and fluffy! I cannot recommend this enough. The burb is below with some tropes to see if this one is for you as well!

Blurb 📖💭
Raine is a traveling musician with ADHD that just dropped out of medical school to follow her true calling traveling the world… or she was until someone tricked her and stole all of her supplies! Left with no one to turn to she walks into a local pub to find the most handsome Irish man struggling with OCD who’s “sort of” a tattoo artist but also owns the pub with his brother!? He hires her with a vow he will get her stuff back within 12 weeks so she can leave, but how can she leave someone that feels so much like home?

This book caught my eye and I bought it when I had some kindle credits to use. I’m so glad I picked it up. The author’s portrayal of OCD and ADHD felt very authentic and honest. Raine and Jack were complex characters, and I loved the way they understood each other from the jump. Their banter was quick witted and perfectly timed. Their friendship that turned into something more was beautifully written. I enjoyed the dual POV. It was amazing to be in both of their heads as they got to know each other and fall for each other. I adored the way Jack knew what Raine needed before she did. I appreciated the way Raine held space for Jack and never made him feel like he was broken because of the OCD. The character growth for both of them as the story developed was amazing and felt realistic and relatable. I loved the descriptions of Cohb, because it felt like I was there with them (and reminded me of the afternoon I spent wandering the quaint town back in 2018). This one was a slow burn, but it was resolved in a satisfying way at the right moment. The ending was so sweet and wrapped the story up nicely.

Wow. I didn't want this book to end! I so appreciated the exploration of ADHD and OCD between the two main characters and though it was difficult to read Jack's POV at times because of his struggles, this story is stronger because of it.  Also, the "that's what she said" humor of Raine is right up my alley so it's safe to say I loved it ❤️

I caught myself smiling from page one.
I love the perspectives of both main characters as well as the representation of their neurospiciness.
It was joyful all the way though, and a very heart warming read. Plus, who doesn’t love a pub becoming more than just a place but an important community third space?

This was a fun and lighthearted read. It is part of a series, which I didn't know until I finished the book, so you can read it without ever reading the other 2 books in the series.
There is a lot of mental health rep in this book. It really focuses on how both main characters feel about their diagnosis and how they deal with it.
To balance out some of the heaviness from their mental health struggles there is a floofy kitty and tons of humor. The kitty reminds me of my own kitty because he is also a floof and only likes 3 people. Then the nicknames the main characters give each other are adorable.one thing I would change is that the families would try to help the main characters are little more with their mental health.
