It took me a bit, but oh, how I loved this book when I got into it

This book was beautifully written and had some incredible moments but didn’t feel like a true build towards the end. I wanted more character development of Agatha…

A beautiful but lonely little book. I will definitely read whatever Claire Luchette writes next.

Very interesting! Sparse and beautiful, with a window into an unknown world (for me): women religious.

I heard about this book on NPR and it isn't one I would have picked up, but it was delightful! Agatha, a nun, is sent to Little Neon, a halfway house for addicts. She and her fellow sisters begin to make Little Neon a home. Agatha begins working as a high school math teacher and several of the residents begin to work with the sisters to try to keep Little Neon open. This was such a charming book and a very quick read.

Not the best of books I have read. Lack of character and plot development.

One of my favorite books I’ve read so far. Original, moving, funny, and sweet.

Very cute and sweet. Both positive and negative. I think I have met Agatha before, a slightly sheltered, childish adult, who is all the time shocked by real life. There are quite a few books about people like her out there.

Cute and sweet, again.
