The nostalgia w in these books for me is what’s helping me finish them so quick. They are quick, easy reads though. I missed Cassandra Clare’s writing tbh. Having said that Jem deserves better. Maybe it wasn’t known to Tessa that she was falling to him in place of Will, but imo that’s what happened and it’s just cruel. And now to just appease him because he’s dying? Has he not already explained he hates that shit? Anywho, I can’t remember exactly how this is about to play out, but Good Lord am I stressed.

I was literally shouting at this book by the end. I loved it but I'm not happy with who is with who hence all my dramatic reactions at the later chapters of the book.
I much preferred this story to the previous book, I found it less frustrating and much more interesting. I have to say I was overall very happy about most of the outcomes from this book.

I was totally horrified by the betrayal Jess made for the sake of her love for that narcissistic bastard Nathaniel. But if we look from her point of view, it may seem right. But personally, I feel that she should have betrayed the Institute as it them who had raised her with love. Leaving the bitter parts aside, I loved the passionate kiss scene between Will and Tessa in the balcony. I love the scene when Will got cured of hiscurse(lie) and when he went to propose to Tessa. But his bad luck or as I think, bad timing, failed miserably. I also loved how Jem told his love for Tessa. And the fact that Will's jokes about Benedict came true was both amusing and horrifying. And at last, the entry of Cecily was a great twist. I am dying the read the next book.
