Cambrie had a painful abused life. When she gets away from her father, she meets Nixon, Rafael, and Spencer at shelter, and they have an instant connection. But when they discover she an omega, they bring her back to their pack so they can protect her. There she will meet Marius, Oscar, and Bohdi who are the rest of the pack. All of them feel protected and instantly fall for her. But as they will try to do anything by the law to keep her safe and with them. Their journey is incredible but be prepared for a huge cliffhanger.

The overall idea of the book is good for an Omegaverse. The dialogue is very stilted, overly flowery, and unrealistic. This is one of those books that doesn’t know how to show you things, it spells everything out in detail through long winded chats.

I technically DNFd this at about 50% but then skimmed the rest to see what happened. This book is horrible. If you thrive on a power imbalance between the FMC and MMCs to the point where they're teaching her the birds and the bees like she's prepubescent and lecturing her in weird home therapy sessions, and none of their actions are empowering her; and if you like your "innocent" FMC to read more on the timid and clueless but randomly spouting multiple paragraphs of censure when it fits the plot to make her more timid afterward, then I guess this is the book for you.

Omegas arent allowed to choose their pack, they are forced from their families into 'Care Centers' and later placed with a pack of the governments choosing; therefore its a scary prospect to face as a young girl. She endures the abuse and runs when presented the chance not long after her 18th birthday.
Marcus is a newly elected, Alpha official with progressive ideas when Cambrie runs from her father and lands in the shelter run by his pack mates. The guys are all wonderful and caring and immediately enamoured with her. I dont want to give them away, but I really love Spencer and am literally in love with Oscar and Bodhi.
