Ann Liang’s books just get better and better each time I read them. I absolutely adored this novel. I really liked how the protagonist's flaws were relatable and she wasn't as frustrating as the protagonists in many others book I've read. Maybe I just relate to her. Also some of the scenes in this novel were just absolutely beautiful.

It’s like if you stuffed every single cliché about perfectionist students into a book. And it’s perfect for that reason. I just find it incredibly unrealistic that she has not burned out in the last 10 years, nor does she during all the drama, which makes it feel more in her head and less real, even if it wasn’t.

The FMC is way too competitive for my taste, but i relate to her so much.
The MMC is not really my type of guy, he is awkward and odd. But these two are cute together.
