what a story. It wasn't particularly my favorite as it didn't give me that Nantucket feel like the others. what a tragedy love story that in the end hopefully brought them together.

This book had two storylines, and neither of them were very compelling. Renata’s storyline was completely ridiculous. Marguerite’s was a bit more interesting because there was some mystery at first, but once everything is revealed it’s just silly, forced, and unbelievable.

I feel like the pacing of this book was quite slow and not a lot happened. I did enjoy it overall but for an Elin book, it did leave me wishing it had more.

I thoroughly enjoy Elin’s style of writing. Though there were many twists in this novel I predicted, it was still enjoyable until the very end. This is a great story of love, loss, and finding oneself. I look forward to reading more novels by her!
