My favorite part was that the general should know when to ignore the sovereign and how he should treat his men. His attitude on war was practical. He saw that a long war would wear everyone, and he advised against it.

Idk would be good if was in old age in wars lol, still pretty good tips incase humanity goes to stone age and we decide to make empire and go on war again. Lol

Very interesting read! I think it’s interesting that something that people still find this relevant. Why do we tend to think of things in terms of “us” vs. “them” and friends and enemies? Why is everything a war to us? I had those questions in mind as I read and it made it all the better.
