I'm not one for war or even strategy games, but I still found this to be a very interesting read and the principles applicable to many facets of life. There's a reason this is a classic, very well worth the read.
Not really for me. I also don't understand how this would be helpful to everyday people. It's just about war tactics?
An interesting read, definitely want to look into other editions for more in depth commentary
I read this while steam mopping and feel that I have been more productive because of my anger at mankind and warfare so thanks for that ig

I’m literally just a 23 year old girl with no enemies so I’m probably not the most qualified person for a review of this book, however i have to say, i thoroughly enjoyed it! A lot of it obviously would not apply to my day to day life but the book does contain some wisdom and I definitely see how it’s influential for some!
Is it okay if I don't like this book?!
I mean no offense, [a: Sun Tzu|1771|Sun Tzu|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1185211202p2/1771.jpg] sure did a lot of research to write this book and everything was really insightful. Yes, war is an art and one must be an artist to win a battle. But the thing is, I'm not much into war, bloodshed, massacre or destruction. So this book isn't my type at all.
Besides, this book was supposed to teach you to conquer your opponents. How do you know your opponents haven't read this book?!

I struggled with the layout of the book, constant breaks of the text with commentary. Ignored all these interruptions in last three chapters, but would revisit in the future, maybe in physical form to help aid study.
