Reflections on life from the veteran actor with stories from throughout his life. Shatner gives his perspective on how to live life and what he has come away with from these experiences. His only universal advice on how to live a long life "don't die." Interesting for being told from a position of one who has established his legacy as well as a man who wants to keep adding to it. An enjoyable light read by a man who has lived an interesting life and has a few stories to tell. I received a free ARC of this book through Goodreads First Reads Giveaways.

I haven't read previous books by Mr. Shatner but I'm going to change that, because he is funny and self-deprecating and knows how to tell a good story. His insight into life and the mysteries of life, which he shouts he doesn't have the answers to, is refreshing and humorous.
I received an ARC to review, and I'm glad I was able to read this great book.

Shatner shares his heartfelt and emotionally honest lack of wisdom in this funny sweet memior.

I'd describe this as guided stream of consciousness. Shatner isn't out to prescribe advice for people but he does so in general terms. There are moments a common reader will relate to but his is by no means an ordinary life so a lot is unobtainable. Its full of interesting anecdotes however and a gentle read for any fan.
