Ended too quickly! I have been a listener of Thirst Aid Kit and a Twitter follower of Nichole’s for years and really enjoy her perspective. This is a wonderful collection of personal essays, told with honesty and humor and insight. Looking forward to tracking down her poetry and whatever she writes next.

LOVED this book, and read it in just a few days. I couldn’t put it down. Nichole Perkins is compelling and funny and interesting—that good stuff! Highly recommend, especially if you’re trying to read more authors who are women of color. 10/10.
