A goofy, charming love letter to libraries - liberally sprinkled with magic. A fun read. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series!
Very enjoyable! Plenty of twists and good characters; a great start to this series.
If you've ever actually been to Washington County, Oregon, do yourself a favor and don't bother reading this because it will just piss you off.

This book started out fantastic, but sort of lost it's way a little. I felt like it was almost there with the plot. It needed more depth or details to the story. It felt rushed at times and not fully fleshed out. It was a great concept.

I have never read a book by this author, but I was definitely intrigued by the blurb on this one. I love cozy paranormal mysteries, and I dived in. This did have a rocky start by being a little bit slow. However, once it got going, I was hooked. I enjoyed Josie and Josie’s journey to her discovery of her abilities, and I enjoyed the action to finding out who was behind it all. I was a little let down again with the reveal and the motivations, but not enough to not to like this one. It is a series-starter, and those can be a little rocky. I am really looking forward to the next one to find out more. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
This is a true 3.5 for me, curse you Goodreads for STILL not having that option! A quick and cozy mystery read perfect for fall, with a light amount of fantasy elements. I think I’ll probably continue the series as a palate cleanser between other books I read this fall.

This cozy was ok. I had figured out who the culprit was pretty early on, so it wasn't a surprise when revealed at the end. I enjoyed the untraditional library setting and the bits of witchiness in the story, but not enough to continue the series.
Loved this! Currently melting down over the fact I can’t find the second book on Everand or Kindle Unlimited 😂
