I loved all other Emily Henry books I've read, but this one just didn't click for me fand for the life of me I can't figure out why.

I read bits and pieces of this book in between fantasy series. When I wanted to read but didn’t want to face all the world building another fantasy series would bring. That’s important to note, as I’m so used to magic and fae and escapism, that this non-fantasy romance seemed flat in comparison, which isn’t really fair to the book. 
I found myself picking this back up around the 75% mark, and enjoyed it. Would I read it again? Probably not. Would I read other titles by the author? Yes, when the mood strikes!
