Overall, I enjoyed it. It was an easy and quick read to round out the year. It’s a typical Christmas lover tries to win over the “Grinch” storyline. Was I annoyed over every “villain” being a narcissistic stalker? Yeah. Despite the title being so in your face sexual, it took a while to get there and when it did I got vaguely annoyed. Instead of building the steamy scenes it was just back to back sex scenes and male-driven comments of “tightness” to the point I started to skip over it. It ended on a good note and I was almost excited to start the next one but it seems to just be the same storyline, different character so despite liking this I just don’t think I’ll pick another one up.

1.5 stars. Ooof. Not the romcom Christmas story I was hoping for. The author really said let’s put every plot point imaginable in this.

A diabetes joke; casual stance on stalking, child neglect, and mental health concerns; and Jack’s parents saying they chose his stalker ex-girlfriend who is in need of professional mental health help as his “mate” gave me major ick vibes.

I don’t know why I even finished this book. There were so many weird plot lines, too many stalkers, misplaced innuendos and the FMC was repeatedly attacked with zero consequences. I’m just overall baffled by this one.

Super, super cute premise but not well done. I love holiday bake off stories. The characters lacked any originality and the dialogue was awful. I didn’t like any of the storylines enough to finish so dnf, skimmed from 70% on.

This was a quick and easy Kindle Unlimited book that I read while I was sick. I needed something light and entertaining to distract me while I wasn't feeling well during the holiday season and this did the trick.

I was looking for a Hallmark movie in book form. I got two stalkers, a baking influencer who gives her address to strangers so they can send her skimpy clothes she'll post on her Instagram in, a baking show, almost completely empty skyscraper in NYC, and a headache. I made it to the halfway point wanting to find out who Chole's stalker is and then gave up before finding out the answer.

Abandoned at the 10% mark. Great premise (sunshine holiday baking show contestant meets grumpy grinch of a judge) but the execution was majorly lacking. Like a plate of Christmas cookies that look fantastic from the other side of the room, but on closer inspection are unevenly baked or stale, with messy decorations and a bad aftertaste. I wanted to bail after the first chapter of clunky set-up and introductions, but it only got worse.
