Powerful emotion in this one. Amelia Ann has a secret for her driving force behind volunteering at the legal clinic. The secret is slowly eating away at her as she waits for the other show to drop. Clayton is her crush and one of her brother's best friends he doesn't want to broach that subject, but the chemistry between them is flaring. One huge problem Clayton doesn't want to risk his heart again and Amelia Ann's secret could cost her everything. I also enjoyed the secondary story going involving John Parker's sister.
Yes, this is a romance. No, I do not usually give one a 5* unless it has something more. This one has the discussion of domestic violence and the planning of a concert to benefit victims of it. Well done.
I cried my way through the last 200 pages of the book, it was an incredible story and the author did an amazing job wrapping up the stories of Rye, Tammy and especially Amelia Ann
This is my favorite couple in the whole series. The first two books I just loved their snarky interactions and then watching them discover the depth of intellect, emotional competency, and passion each of them carry within themselves in the other. UGH. So good. So many tears.

What an amazing story that encompasses a love story, Fresno coverage of domestic violence, plans around a benefit coverage and meeting new characters. I’ve been up until 1 am each of the last three nights reading the first 3 books in this series with tears running down my cheeks as I read the last words craving more.
This series is beyond fabulous. I love the characters and getting to meet and discover new ones in the rich tapestry this author has stitched. 5 stars isn’t high enough praise.
