It is safe to say this is one of the most addictive series I have ever picked up.
I was more than a little bit tentative at first. I’m never really sure what to expect when the supernatural and crime are mixed together. Things can so easily go so very wrong. Yet not here! Here everything is as wonderful as you could ever imagine.
One of the quote about this series is to imagine what would happen if Harry Potter grew up and joined the Met… Well, I say Harry Potter could never be this cool (I’m sorry to all the Potterheads I have offended, but I’m serious, the books are so awesome).
The stories was completely unpredictable yet wonderfully connected, filled with countless amusing moment that had me laughing out loud more often than I probably should have been. With wonderful characters, great magical world building, and everything you could want from a crime book, the Peter Grant series gives you everything you could ask for in an urban fantasy series and then some.
If you’re a fan of the genre, I recommend giving these books a go!
