This book is one of the best horror meditations I've read about generational trauma, inner demons, being addicted to misery, seeing yourself honestly, the nature of muses in creativity, and the internal family systems inside all of us. I'm in awe.

This book goes thoroughly off the rails about 1/3 of the way through, but it sticks the landing in every timeline. Creepy and well-written.
