I went back and forth with the book and the audiobook. I enjoyed the audio version & I liked how the book reminded me of a yearbook. Wait, do they even make yearbooks anymore?

Teenage 80's film mixed with the Exorcists, that the simplest way to sum this book up. There wasn't really anything too surprising or suspenseful with the story overall but it was still an enjoyable read.
It felt pretty medium paced for most of the book but once I got towards the end and everything was set in place it evolved quickly.

-warning there is brief mentioning of animal abuse in this book, as well as a few other things so just check that out before you start reading. :)

Loved this book, felt so many emotions, especially that last chapter. Exorcism was a bit hokey but all-in-all, excellent! And the accompanying soundtrack on Spotify, such memories!

Finally finished this one. Wasnt my favorite and got kinda bored through out it. Some of the book was good but I just felt like it dragged on. Not much to say on this one.

A bit corny. It was fine but super cheesy when the exorcism happened. It was odd.

Didn't have an ending I expected, and not it a good or bad way. There were a lot nostalgic moments for me. It's set in the 80s, during a time when I was the age they were at the start of the story. Pretty funny book considering the context. Overall I really enjoyed it.

so this book, was exceedingly boring, this happens at the height of the satanic panic. which is kind of important. In many ways this feels, like a very boring lifetime movie. or a bigger adult version of goosebumps.

Basically, onegirl up getting lost, in the woods, something happens to her in the woods, she’s traumatized from it.

She ends up throwing, on “signs of possession which in this case are actually signs of trauma.
Her parents were religious fanatic. end up basically, telling her to pray more. taking her to a doctor, to prove, her virginity. this is not the only form of abuse they subject their daughter to.
There’s also at least two scenes with one parent beating their child relentlessly. Like to the point if another adult seems they, would need to report it.
like she should not be in their custody.

is possession which honestly looks like disassociation possibly psychosis.
Is that she ends up putting, one of her friends by giving her tapeworms. apparently fat diet in the 80s please don’t do that it’s not safe.

By the way the tape worm seen that is intense

AnyWho end up framing a priest at school being in an affair with one of her friends.
This girl is up topless on the roof and tries to jump off.

The dog gets killed by the way yeah that’s not fun.

OK so the bodybuilding traveling ministry yeah that’s a thing in this book.
And of course one of these people is an exorcist because apparently everyone was an exorcist in the 80s
