The art is pretty but I found the story mostly kind of annoying. It could be a cute story for teaching kids about your outlook on life, but it just fell flat for me.

Two young girls walking through a snowy day, take two viewpoints while looking at the landscape and things around them. One of the girls only notices the gray and blandness of their surroundings while another notices all of the colorful details. By the end, both of them share the perspective of noticing the fine details and colors despite the gray snowy landscape.

Cute book, with good lesson that we could see things differently with changing our point of view.

I really love the illustrations in this book and also the message. Sometimes a friend can provide a new perspective to turn a gray sky silver.

Cute book about a child that sees only a dull, dreary gray snowy day... and a friend that encourages her to see all of the other colors around and how things that her friend initially thought were "bad" are really good.

A cold, gray day is never just one note. It's full of other colors and details if you just pause to take a look. One friend only sees the surface colors, while the other repeatedly encourages them to take another look, see another color, readjust their perspective.

A great book about colors as well as about changing the way you look at things.

Sweet kids book that helps you to pay attention to the moment and describe what's around you.

Such an adorable little book about seeing the colors in things and paying attention to your surroundings.
