5 glorious stars.
This book really surprised me! I was blessed with an arc and couldn’t read it fast enough. The characters were lovely and different. The plot had a twist I didn’t see coming! And that hardly happens anymore. Love me some Clio Evans and I cannot WAIT for Ember’s story.

I love the development of the writing and world building in each addition to the series. Seeing the small connections between this series and the creature cafe series are always fun to see. I can’t wait to see how the company defeats the villain at the end to all of this.
