This is an interesting new series. It feels like it should be creepier than it is – it’s got the hints of Lovecraft dancing around, with no physical support for that feeling. If they can pick that feeling up and run with it they could have something seriously interesting going on here. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

The art is a bit rough in the details (for humans, mostly). I think it looks better in gory situations, so I hope there are more of them in the upcoming issues. The setting is interesting, it's going to be suitable for summer horror reading.
