Minimum wage workers in an IKEA equivalent store discover a wormhole has opened up and taken a customer to an alternate dimension and are forced by their manager to bring them back. Loved this witty, ironic, queer, anticapitalist adventure through the multiverse, with heartful moments.

Eh... I liked the concept, but this novella felt like it couldn't make up its mind on if it wanted to be a fun adventure with a side of satire or a deep look at relationships. I wasn't very invested in the ex-relationship that took up a big focus of the story which didn't help either. If this was a more fleshed out novel, I would've found more reason to care, but as is, the limited page space for the story didn't give the concepts it brought up enough breathing room. It was overall an okay story.

Not subtle by a long shot. The concept was interesting but it was too shallow, from the characters to the execution. I'd expect a response of "That was part of the point" if I brought up the pop culture references but even so, it wasn't very charming. I didn't enjoy it at all.

Premise, dynamics, themes- all great in concept. Execution.... hard to enjoy. Lots of telling not showing, even in the "romance". Flow was off and heavily hindered by its brevity. Felt very mainstream tumblr (derogatory) sorry :/
