This is another 90s detective series getting its first ebook outing with Fahrenheit Press and it's great. The body of a hospital doctor is found in the Thames - is it murder or suicide - Inspector Christy Kennedy is charged with investigating and it turns out to be more complicated and tragic than it appears. And at the same time he's trying to navigate a friendship that he'd like to become more than a friendship with a local journalist.
Really good, although like with the Sam Jones books, I can't believe that a time period I lived through now feels like a whole different historical period. I have another one of these to read already and more of the series have been promised. Excellent news.
