What do you do when you are sitting on the beach for 6 hours soaking up the New England summer? you read a book. It was good...not great. I'm not sure I'll watch the movie when it comes out. Sometimes books are just better.
4.5 stars. I feel like the middle dragged a bit. I LOVE Josh. It is well written and clever. The banter was fun without being obnoxious. The games, especially at the beginning, were too funny. Overall, a very enjoyable book.
I wanted a book that was essentially a Hallmark movie for a break from more serious reading and that is essentially what this book is.
Is it predictable? Yes
If you go in knowing what you are about to read you are going to have a really good time. If you are going in wanting to read a Booker Prize winner you are going to hate it.

I wanted to like this more than I did. Don't get me wrong! It was absolutely readable enough - I just couldn't completely get behind the romance. That, and less than a week on and I can't really remember what happened... I liked the characters well enough, but they were so damned childish! And then the trajectory from one kiss to all-out head-over-heels love was a little to fast for me. (Lucy in particular went absolutely WILD FOR IT!)
