An unremarkable series limps to an unremarkable conclusion

A pretty straight forward Godzilla comic that picks up from a not-at-all straight forward run. Toho ultimately went for something more conservative. It's fine but not surprising.

Much better than volume 1 (vol 2 is absent from our collection. It was actually pretty difficult to track down this volume). Good action, a decent story arc. However, the story is miniscule, basically just set dressing for a fight between Mechagodzilla and Godzilla. Then literally half the book is a coda that teases SpaceGodzilla in the next issue (which...doesn't exist? Maybe it's under another name).

Still. Godzilla and friends, good art, nothing too stupid. I'm satisfied.
