A masterpiece. It was easy to keep turning pages to find out what would happen next. And easy to get swept up on the saga of every character. I appreciated the focus on the long-term fallout that happens after trauma while not focusing on the person who caused the trauma.

I thought that the first half of the book was slow but then after that it pick up. I love how the author describes the different scenes and the world building was great.

Unpopular opinion: I did not enjoy that. Very slow for me and lacked substance. It dragged for too long.
