The illustrations of this gtaphic novel are beautiful and carry on the story even without the words. It's an interesting idea of a creation story - alien worlds. Plus, Rex is a cute little fox!

Love love love love love...
Mostly wordless, the story takes you on the adventure of a young fox who is chosen to be part of an otherworldly ritual. Originally published as short stories in Flight vols. 2-7 (and I highly recommend that series, too), here is the complete story! I'd read them separately - and I'm glad they're all collected together. They were always my favorite part of the Flight series!
Recommended for everyone, really! Really young people will enjoy the beautiful art work and can follow the story line just fine; and the story is sweet and unique and just lovely.

A cute but very strange story with beautiful illustrations. The vast majority is without any text, and only visual. The entire story is told out of order through all the volumes of Flight, a short graphic story compilation by [a:Kazu Kibuishi|27372|Kazu Kibuishi|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1311988001p2/27372.jpg]. I was hoping that this would contain additional adventures of the little fox, Rex. Nope. If you've read all of the Flight books, you've read Rex's tale.

The illustrations were adorable but also told the story. Few to no words in this one, and they weren't much necessary. "Reading" this book was an experience, and a good one at that!

Honestly I love rereading this graphic novel, it’s just so dang adorable. Rex is the cutest little thing ever.

There are very few words in this comic, and the ones that are there aren't very helpful. I picked this one up at the library because the artwork looked cute, but cute artwork can't carry a whole book. Not only was I confused about what these creatures were, where they were, and what they were doing, i just didn't care. These characters didn't mean anything to me because I didn't know anything about them, and the art didn't help me get to know them. Overall, I was pretty disappointed.
